The office is responsible for academic programs and departmental budgets, personnel matters, including faculty promotion and tenure, and manages the largest student enrollment. The Dean’s Office sets the direction of the College by establishing priorities that support its academic mission, including facilities planning and resource management.

The College's Advising Center provides students information regarding general education requirements, academic policies and procedures, scholastic standards, and resource referral assistance. Specific assistance is provided to Criminal Justice majors and special populations in their transitions to Radford University.
